This Easter Sunday was something special for the Dogs at Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre (CARE), a rescue and rehabilitation centre in Bangalore. An unexpected visitor arrived, who, by the end of the day, left everyone in awe by his generous act of kindness and passion for dogs. We are talking about none other than the master cricketer – Virat Kohli.

Greeted by Dash, the Chief Reception Officer, Virat met around 50 dogs and patiently listened to the Founder @ CARE -Miss Sudha Narayanan, on how dogs are rehabilitated after their rescue. Expressing his love for animals, he voiced how “rescued was his favourite breed” and hoped that people would learn to adopt than just shop.

Virat chose to passive adopt 15 dogs with special needs that day, leaving on a truly magical note for everyone. He’s certainly setting an example for all to adopt and not shop and reach out to the animals who are in a dire need of some magic. ♥
